Involved since that time in both consultancy and contracting in the UK, the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey, he has worked on numerous commissions in almost every sector of the construction industry. His wide experience makes him very much a general practitioner but he is able to provide specialist advice in areas including water retaining concrete structures, tunnelling and deep shafts, large diameter prestressed concrete pipes, structural vibration and blast loading. Prior to joining the practice in 1995 he had been a senior manager with a major consultant working on the world's largest civil engineering project, with particular responsibilities for health and safety for a workforce of 1800.
